I spend so much time meditating out here, it doesn’t matter how unruly the wind, the rain or the temperature. A place one can go to think is rare and priceless. Sometimes its a physical place, and for a lucky few, it’s a place in the mind.

A creative take on the enervating monochromatic long exposure. Why wouldn’t any photographer use these colors?
This was my attempt to call myself a “real” landscape photographer. The traditional monochromatic slow shutter speed photograph of a dock.
Perhaps someone will find a use for my photos while meditating on life, and forget their troubles.
In the afternoon, when the dockside vendors were closing up shop for the day, I begged one to let me take this shot. The vendors sell to disembarking cruise passengers at what used to be known as the Prince George Dock. Today it has become its own thing, with a concert venue and Junkanoo Museum.
Tutufa bubo, common name for the \”giant frog snail\” or \”giant frog shell\”. I take photos of these shells because there was a time when they were so common you could come back with a handful just by going on a shoreline stroll. Today, they are rare and can be seen only in the main public library in downtown Nassau. For years the upstairs section of the library, which used to serve as the first prison, has been closed due to renovations. At some point in the future, I endeavor to get permission to borrow the rarest and photograph them on the beach.
I was hanging off of a ladder and fell into the water. The Camera got wet, but luckily no salt water entered the barrel or body.
This island is mesmerizing during golden hour but especially in the hard light of day. It is now privately owned by a major resort. It costs $5000 for an all inclusive day there and $10,000 for an overnight stay.
