The narrator was the conductor from a live orchestra. It was an amazing technical accomplishment if you think about it from a color and musical perspective. At the time my father would have been two years old. Making this felt like a nod to Disney.  A portrait orientation of the photo “Long Cay Time Travel”.

Even though I’m not too particular about this photo, I decided to include in on my store for only one reason, this is as close to the island the sun usually gets during the summer months when the earth’s axis tilts the northern hemisphere closer. During the winter months, the sun is far to the left and sets behind the new BahaMar resort.

This island is mesmerizing during golden hour but especially in the hard light of day. It is now privately owned by a major resort. It costs $5000 for an all inclusive day there and $10,000 for an overnight stay.

I couldn’t believe the cloud formations were so perfect one evening on my drive home. It was a chilly, windy day and all I had on me was a 30mm prime, so I made the best of it.

I’ve used this shell many times, as you can tell. I inherited it from my mother during her time working with shells for her own art when she was in her 20’s. It has become one of the centerpieces on my dining room table.
